SpeakerHey everyone. I'm back. She's back. Not even gonna say what round it was, because I always say like round four or five. I don't know. But we're it's a segment now, so I'm back for August.
Speaker 1Yeah, I've lost track how many episodes you've been on, but yeah, so this is if you're watching on YouTube, you'll be able to tell this is another Zoom remote podcast. Um hopefully it goes better than the last one we did because I was a dum-dum and didn't record the video for the last part of the episode. So I will be double and triple checking my work this time to not make that dumb mistake again.
SpeakerOh yeah, let me as you're saying that. Uh I had my AirPolume blasting and my microphone picked it up, but somehow my microphone didn't pick up my voice that well. The audio was low on my end, so we're working out the kinks. Like I brag all the time. I'm like, I'm this tech person, and then like the episode is like it is what it is. But to clear my name, she does all the tech for the podcast. I don't really do anything for it, I'm just a guest on it. But yeah, I'm not saying it's shitty because of you, but I'm just saying No, but when when it is shitty, you're like, that's not on me. It's not on me. I didn't do this to clear my name from the record. For the record. For the record. I cannot say that without saying that one crazy meme of that guy. It's not a meme, a video. I don't know if you can hear it. I can't I can't hear it right now, so I'm just staring at you. I just rescued him like two weeks ago. Very cute. He's a new member of a family. So I was gonna name him something else, but I actually like the name lucky, so I was like, I'll keep it. And he is lucky. Yes, I'm lucky, so he's very cute.

SpeakerTwo days ago. Yeah. It was very um anticlimactic, but I had a nice dinner with my family last night, so that was cool.
Noah Kahan Night And Rose Bowl Chaos
Speaker 1Yeah.
SpeakerAnd um, I went to the Noah Con concert for my birthday present.
Speaker 1Yeah, we have some circle backs. Do you want to start with that one? Because our circle back from last episode for the July pop culture was she was trying to get into this Noah Con concert without spending a fortune and selling her soul to the devil for front porch tickets. What ended up happening?
SpeakerUm, well, I didn't get front porch tickets. No. But I did go to the concert, so it was a success, and I spent like $160, so that was cool. But um, and it ended up being my birthday present from my parents. So I just spent my money on merch, which if you're watching on YouTube, I'm wearing right now. So I had to get some. It was way more than I wanted to spend, but yeah, I got tickets the two days before because I had my bots monitoring, um, I set up some alerts, and I had my bots monitoring the ticketing sites for the cheapest price. So I had like an alert for if floor seats dropped, if front porch seats dropped, if any tickets dropped below $200. So I was monitoring them and then I got them like Friday. I got my outfit and my parking pass before I had my ticket.
Speaker 1Yeah, okay, this is actually something I did want to talk to you about. You had told me your not plan because you didn't have your lack of plan for going to this concert. And I had I texted you, I was like, I don't understand the way that you live because how do you not have a plan and like a set, like I need to know where I'm going, what time I'm going. I like everything needs to be spelled out for me. And you were just like, it's more fun this way.
SpeakerAnd I'm like, how would you live like this? Like it's like I know where I'm going, I know what I'm gonna do. I'm like, I'm going to see Noah Khan. That's the fucking end goal. So whatever I have to do in between does not matter how I get there. My mission is see Noah and accomplished.
Speaker 1Oh my gosh. Yeah, like and then because they were also saying, like, they were changing the times of what time people had to get there because it's the Rose Bowl and the parking sucks and this and that. So it was like, should we show up at four? Should you show up at 4 30? Should you show up earlier? And I'm like, that gave me so much anxiety that they didn't even go to the concert with you. I was just like, oh my god, like I'd be stressed.
SpeakerSo I was like, I drove up there at like I got there at like 4 30 and it was already like a lot of traffic, but I had prepaid for my parking, but I got there like right at the perfect time because traffic was just starting, and then like the parking lot where I was parking was filling up, so like I don't know if they were gonna cut it off, but I already paid for it, so I was like, I am not I'm getting in here. So I got into the parking and then the goal was to take the shuttle because that's what I heard on TikTok, and then I got to the shuttle line and I asked the security guard, I was like, How long is this line? He was like about an hour, 45 minutes. I was like, I looked on my map um and walking was like 30 or 45 minutes, so I was like, Oh fuck that, I'm walking. So, and a bunch of people were walking. Um, I tried to make friends with a bunch of people. The vibes were like so I mean, I did have like a bunch of pill bottles coming out of my purse, but like still, I'm like, we're at the Noah Con concert, aren't you all on antidepressants and anti-anxiety meds like me? Yeah, you made I'm the only one. You made those crowns, yeah.
Speaker 1So we should specify as what why you had so many pill bottles on you.
SpeakerI didn't have like random pill bottles, no. I had my like medication bottles saved in a shoebox for some odd reason. I was gonna throw them out, but then um I was saving them one by one to keep track of the passage of time, like Tamara's buttons. And no, I'm kidding. Um, and so then I was like, oh, perfect. I'll I'll make a bunch of I saw it wasn't my original idea. I saw this girl on TikTok at the New York show, and she had a pill bottle crown of her medications at the Noah Khan concert. So I was like, oh, okay, let me do that. So I made one for me and then a bunch for other people. I met a friend on TikTok. I never got ended up meeting up with her because the lines were so crazy. The rose bowl sucks, as always. I think I said that la on the last episode.
Speaker 1Like you were very passionate about hating on the rose bowl.
SpeakerYeah, and now everyone can see why if you go on TikTok and watch like everyone's making all these like review videos of like the Rose Bowl and how it was horribly unorganized, which I was like, yeah, I know. I don't know why he chose that, but it was his biggest show ever. 90,000 people, it was amazing. So, like, I don't know, the vibes were weird, but like I was trying to be friendly with everyone. One guy gave me a ladybug, so I gave him a crown because you know, the bugs I was gonna ask, did you end up giving away the crowns? Yeah, I eventually well they were in my trunk, and on the way there, so I made like six crowns. One was for me, and then half of them melted, so like they broke apart. So then, and then I had like all these pill bottles like loose, so I was like, this looks weird. So then I just stuffed the rest of them into my purse because we had like the clear bag policy or whatever at the rose bowls, so it looked cool coming out of my purse. I was like, Oh, this is chic. I don't want to wear them on my head in old town Pasadena right now. Like, no, even though everyone was going to the show, I was like, I'll just wait. I didn't want to like fully walk around town with them on. Yeah. Because they were like a little bit much, so they were coming out of my bag, and everyone was like giving me weird looks. I'm like, does no one else have issues? No, I'm the only one. Like one guy complimented me, so I gave him a crown and he gave me a little ladybug pen. Yeah. And then I thought everyone was gonna be like that, because like that's what I've heard, and that's what it's the vibes I've like seen.
Speaker 1So was everyone just like it was weird, like pissed that they had to, it was like so like not disorganized, but just like that's what it was. Like it's hot, we have to walk so far, we have to wait in this long line. Like, think it was just like people got tired of it.
SpeakerI got there at like 4 30, because they said to get there at 4 30, but I parked at 4 30, and then I ended up walking. So then I got in the stadium and I was gonna go get merch, but the lines were insane, and everyone was so rude. I'm like, I get it, you're waiting in lines, but like I'm just asking questions. I asked this lady, can I uh, or is this the merch line? And she's like, Yeah, but this is not the front of the line, you need to go back there. I was like, I wasn't asking that, I was asking what fucking line this was, but thank you for the information, ma'am. Have a lovely night, and then I walked away. Like, I was just like not having it with anyone, and because like everyone was being so rude. Like, I offered these girls a hit of my weed pen, and they were like, Look like I uh asked told them I fucking murdered somebody. I was like, Do I have something? I mean, I know I have these crowns coming out out of my bag, but like I'm on fiend here, so I don't know, but it was fun. Noah was a good vibe, and the people around me were good vibes, so that's all that mattered. Once I got to my seats, I accidentally went to the wrong seat, but whatever. The people came, they were like, Is this your seat? I was like, I think so. And they were like, We're 119. I was like, Oh, mine's 19. But oh my god, I just thought they got the numbering weird. So then I found my actual seat and it was way better vibes there. So I was like, Oh, cool. These girls behind me were having fun and they knew all the words because like sometimes it's awkward if you're the only one like singing along.
Speaker 1So like I never understand people who go to a concert and then like don't have fun, you know what I mean? It's like you're there to like sing along, you know, have fun. It's just like you just go there to sit and like watch.
SpeakerYeah, like I've seen TikToks of people complaining that like these girls ruined the show for them because they were singing the whole time. It's like, sorry, if you want to just listen to the song, listen on like streaming or a volume.
Speaker 1Yeah, I mean, or I could see if they're like being obnoxious or being like all over the place and whatnot. Like, I can see like where it could be too much, but like we're all there to like have fun, hang out, like come on.
SpeakerYeah, exactly. It's like just have etiquette, concert etiquette. Like, don't obviously scream, sing the little slow parts where it's just his vocals and like no instruments or anything, but like obviously stick season, yeah. Turn the fuck up. Yeah, and we did. It was so loud, so it was so fun. I would I was about to go again in San Diego, but I was being responsible. Front porch dropped to $700.
Speaker 1Well, it's better than the $28,000 that they were asking for before.
SpeakerYeah, so what the hell is that? And I was monitoring front porch, and someone ended up buying it for like $3,200. Well, I wasn't monitoring it, my bot was one of my bots I set up. Anyways, yeah, it was overall, it was great. And then I ended up having to walk back because the shuttle lines were insane, the traffic was insane, and the parking at the Rose Bowl was 70 bucks. So I was like, I'm not parking here, and then you get stuck in it, it's like one lane in, one lane out. So I I knew better than that. So I was like, I'd rather walk. The pathway I took down there was chill. Somehow I ended up like going on a fucking mountain hike on the way back. It was a 50-minute walk, and it was like uphill the whole time, and I was like, God damn, I am so out, like winded after this. But I was like, I had fun, but I ended up getting one of those. I was starving, and then I saw the prices inside the rose bowl, and everything's like brewing dog, brewing the they didn't have it there, but like it's all UCLA themed, kind of. Uh-huh. So I was like, not everything, but like some stuff I saw. So I was like, um, and it was like $24 for chicken nuggets, chicken tenders. I was like, no, I'll just get something. So I got one of those like cart hot dogs, classic LA dogs, yeah. I went to two McDonald's after, and there was so the lines were so long. Of course. And so I had to settle for fucking Jack in the Box. It was disgusting. But overall, it was a great, great night. All you did was complain right now. I know. Well, the that was like nothing to do with the concert, but yeah, the walk bat the after the show was not great. See, I I had a decent experience compared to some people, like people were stranded, stuck with the phone, batteries dead. This one girl, she was new to LA for like a month. Her girlfriend dropped her off at the show, and she her phone died and she didn't know where to go or get picked up because my stream was closed. I'm like, that's why I go by myself without a plan because you never know what's gonna happen.
Speaker 1See, that girl should have had a plan. She she was ill-prepared. So that's why you need to have a plan. You need to know what you're doing.
SpeakerI mean, yeah, I did a little research on TikTok. I knew what I was doing still, because I've been there before. So that's why I was like, it's cool. But sorry, my eye was itching. Anyways, that was a long rant about the Rose Bowl mainly. Noah was amazing. Yeah, Noah was good. Rose Bowl, up your game. Come on. Bad. But I knew that was gonna be the case. So I knew what I was getting myself into. Yeah. Well I could have gone to Petco Park, but I didn't want to.
Speaker 1Alright, well, since we're on a part of a rant already, I guess we should do our other circle back, which isn't good news.
Jackie The Bald Eagle Heartbreak
SpeakerSo last month we didn't want to have yeah, last share.
Speaker 1Last month we talked about uh Jackie the bald eagle who was attacked while at Big Bear Lake where she lives, and um she was taken to the OHI Raptor Center and they said she had anemia and they were trying to get her better to return her back to her mate Shadow. And I had we you and I both had strong feelings about the fact that these two random eagles were all of a sudden trying to cozy up to Shadow and like take Jackie's man. Unfortunately, um August 10th, she Jackie passed away from severe anemia and thrombosis of her wing and her kidneys. So Jackie. Yeah. Um not the news we wanted to hear. Yeah, I was hoping we were gonna come back this month and we were gonna talk about how they were reunited and it was like cute and you know, love really does exist. And um, no.
SpeakerOkay, that's too much. You're getting a lot of emotions. I told you nature is cruel.
Speaker 1You're the one who was going off about wanting to kick some bird's ass because she was cozying up to Shadow. So don't say I put emotion on it.
SpeakerI still think that bird is a whore, but this can be true. I'm also aware that that's nature and that's what happens. And I watched this lady's TikTok. She communicated with both Jackie and Shadow. She's a bird communicator or psychic or something. And at first I thought she was nuts, but then she proved my point that I was trying to make. So I was like, you know what? This lady is no, she knows what she's talking about. Um she said that Shadow is aware that Jackie is was sick and that she was getting help from the humans, and like people need to stop sensationalizing them and humanizing them because they're birds, and that's not how things work in nature. Like, yes, he's sad she's gone, but not the kind of sad you would think because birds don't have fucking emotions like humans. You just called a bird a whore. Two things can be true, I said. Yeah. But all birds are whores and hate birds. So this is why. Um Shadow and Jackie were cool, and it's sad because bar bald eagles are like an endangered species, or were. I think they just got off the endangered species list. But it's cool. Her legacy, she left a couple of uh hatchlings, and they'll be in the eagle community, so that's good. Yes. But she helped educate people on birds and eagles and interest the world. But the lady also said that Jackie was aware the humans were helping her and that she was thankful for that, but she was really sick, and she didn't want people to be sad, and she wanted them to know that they did everything they could and don't be mad at the people at the that were trying to help her. So that's what the bird communicator said.
Speaker 1Well, thank you so much for listening to the entire rant of the bird psychic. You did send that to me, and I saw it was 10 minutes. I was like, I'm not listening to this.
SpeakerLike it's like five minutes. She well, she oddly, like, her message from the birds was kind of rational, and they were basically saying, like, we're not human, we don't have emotions, we're not sad. Like, this is what happens in nature. It is like we don't have human feelings, and like we appreciate everyone interested in eagles and interested in us, but like things don't work the way they do in the human world, so everyone relax basically, and we're okay, and Shadow will be okay, and he'll find a new mate. Okay.
Speaker 1Well, then that transitions us to what uh is the new update, which is there is a new eagle that is hanging out with Shadow. They have named her Kaydee. Her uh tag name was KD1, but they have now named her Kaydee. Uh-huh. And she has been spending time with Shadow. Also to note, she is not the same eagle who was in the altercation with Jackie. She is a different eagle. And since she is tagged, they believe she is actually Jackie's younger sister, that she came not from the same like Half-Mar. Yeah, not from the same hatchling as Jackie, but she came after Jackie from the same parents. Um, so fear not, Shadow will find love again.
SpeakerAnd I learned also that Jackie was older than Shadow, and Shadow was actually kind of young, so like he had a lot more time anyways. So they're gonna be okay. Oh, that's what the bird lady said too. Jesus Christ. What the fuck are we talking about? Like, I don't even like birds, but I'm so invested in these two eagles. And I don't know, maybe it's because it's like it's big bear, it's local, they're eagles, so it's patriotic. We've watched them on live stream, they're kind of celebrity birds. But nature is cruel, like I say, as always.
Speaker 1Life moves on as will shadow. I don't know. Like I like I guess I'm at you're right. I am attaching human emotion to it because if anyone moved on like that quickly from me, I'd be haunting their asses.
SpeakerLike people were being dramatic, and I was sad because like they were putting like bigger than the whole sky for Jackie, like video clips of her in the nest, and being so sad, like no on TikTok. It was so like insert sad Jackie TikTok in like it was so sad like to Taylor Swift's bigger than the whole sky.
Speaker 1Like no, it like it made me sad watching those edits. I was so oh my god, but we wait we have getting mad at me because I was like, they're birds. We have to talk, we have to talk about the miscommunication though that you and I had. Oh my god, I texted Jay and because I saw it, it was a I opened Instagram, it was the first thing that popped up, and I was like, Oh my, I was like, oh my god. So I texted her immediately, not thinking, and all I put was Jackie died. She responds, oh my god, what the fuck? Like, how? What happened? And I was like, I I don't know. I I turned on, I opened TikTok, it was the first thing that popped up, and she was like, and Jay's like, are you fucking kidding me? I thought you were talking about your friend Jackie, the human Jackie.
SpeakerI was like, oh my god, no, who was just on the pod, whose episode was about to end. Oh, her episode was coming out the next day.
unknownI was like, oh my god.
SpeakerShe just said Jackie died, and I was like, oh my god, what happened? So I was low-key kind of relieved that it was the bird that died, and not friends, but like the yeah, the human friend. Jesus Christ, why would you say it like that? Like it was like some something like because you know you have no words once a close person you know passes away. Right. That's all you can say. And so, like, you should have said the bird died, not just Jackie the bird.
Speaker 1I didn't I didn't think about it. I wasn't, I was more like caught up in the moment of like, oh no, Jackie the bird died, and you freaked out, and then like I realized my mistake, which brought some levity to the situation because I was sad, and then that made me laugh. So I was like, okay, well sad about the bird. At least there's that. Like, okay, fine. Um, and then I made sure when I texted Robert, my boyfriend, that I put John. Jackie, the bald eagle, died because I was about to text him the same thing I texted you. And he probably would have been like, What the fuck just happened? Like he would have been scarred too. So um, lesson learned.
SpeakerStart completing your sentences. Jesus Christ. Yeah. I was like, oh my gosh. Yeah. Yeah. I was just not thinking about the bird wasn't in top of mind. Yeah. That's just fair statement. So it was a crazy, but yes. Rest in peace, Jackie. Fly by.

RushTok Takes Over Our Feeds
Speaker 1was talking about. Uh, first up, social media rush talk is infiltrated both of our for you pages. Yeah.
SpeakerI love it.
Speaker 1Even though neither of us have ever been in a sorority once.
SpeakerI was about to rush, and then the girl told this girl told me what it was all about, and I was like, no, I'm cool. Not that I don't believe. What did she say? Um that scared you away. She said, Do you want to rush with me? And I was like, uh, sure. Or maybe, what's it all about? And then she's like, Well, it's 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. this weekend, Friday through Sunday. I was like, okay, strike one. Um, and she's like, you have to wear like heels and like go present yourself to like all the houses and like make sure you're like super bubbly and all this stuff. I was like, okay, yeah, no, strike. You're like bubbly, never known her. And she's like, and I'm going for I forgot which one she said. And she was like, I'm going for gamma beta, gamma phi beta, and they wear pink and pearls, and they don't clap, they only snap. I was like, yeah, no, I'm okay. Thank you. I'm good on that one. And she's like, oh, and you have to pay for it. I was like, what? You have to pay for all that? It's terrible. So yeah, and you can't smoke, so.
Speaker 1Oh. See, the the one that got the one that got me, I don't mind wearing pink. I don't mind wearing pearls, but I'm not getting up at 7 a.m. for nothing. Um, but since you and I have never been in a sorority, we don't really know what they are about or which one we would have wanted to be a part of. So I found a quiz for us to take to let us know what sorority that specific quiz would have matched us with. Yeah. It I found it on idyllic i-d-y-l-l-i-c. We gotta give credit where credit's due. And it asked like what, like 15 questions or something.
SpeakerIt's way too many questions, and like they were the same questions over and over again. I don't know how accurate this quiz was, but yeah, no, I'm like the person. I didn't get of a sorority girl, so I was like, I don't want to do any of these things. None of these sound appealing. On the I just answered to the best of my ability, thinking in the mindset of what I would be like. Because in an alternate universe, we're like presidents of sororities, like rivaling sororities, and like for sure, definitely each other for sure. But in this world, that sounds is I'm fascinated by it. I love the videos. I have a lot of critiques, like the themes this year. No, they were just random as hell. Some of them were cute.
Speaker 1Yeah, I d I didn't understand, like I uh like last year I felt like every single house had like a specific theme, and this one it just was like they were just kind of dancing all over the place, which I don't mind, but it's like where's the theme?
SpeakerYeah, and a lot of the camera work was very shaky.
Speaker 1I was like, Can you still it was very like early 2000s, which I think one video that was the purpose of it, and the rest of them, it was just like they didn't clean their camera lens or have someone with stable like stable hands.
SpeakerIt was just very odd. Yeah, it was not great. So I mean, some of them are great, like um, and then that one lady who does the balloons, she's amazing. The balloons were out of this world. We missed our ability. I did make a balloon art for my graduation party, and then she took me a little bit more than a few. Oh, I forgot about that long, and it was so difficult. So I have so much respect for these balloon artists because it's true art, and they she did like five houses in one night, and these like insane balloon sculptures, pretty much. I don't know how to explain it.
Speaker 1How many, how many people does she have on her team? Because like it's intricate work, yeah.
SpeakerSo I don't know. I'm fascinated by her. I will shout her. I kind of want to think of her name right now.
Speaker 1I kind of want to post like her. I'll make sure to post her in stories, but I also want to post your balloon arch to show the difference.
SpeakerNo, please don't. Just look up any other balloon arch. Balloon arch fail. That mine will look like that. And then this is like it doesn't matter what my balloon arch looked like. This is nothing in comparison. Like these people are unreal. So I have while posting my sorority. Well, I took the quiz too. So we have our sororities and I found a video from the University of Arkansas of this sorority with some that girl who did their balloons. So I was like, oh, sick. And oh, nice. They're they had a great theme, which also I liked. So I was like, you know what? Right. Okay, so what sorority do you get?
Speaker 1I was wondering if you and I are gonna get the same thing. So, okay, also we need to preface this by saying we don't know the mission statements of each sorority. This is just what we were given on this fun little quiz I found when I just Googled a sorority match quiz. Yeah. So if there's some drama with the sorority, we don't know about it.
SpeakerI literally videos on TikTok, okay? That's the extent of our knowledge of the subject. So if we offended everyone or the philanthropic activities of these sororities, apologies.

Their theme was welcome to the big leagues, which, as you know, I was gonna get tattooed, but that has nothing and it was like baseball outfits and cute balloons, so it was like a good theme. Speaker 1The TikTok I found it was for um USC's chapter. And I was it was the first one that popped up, and I was like, I'll take it. I don't know why. So I saved it.

Speaker 1I'm surprised you didn't, actually. Yeah, that's kind of odd. But they didn't have like big ass balloons, like it not like I feel like the southern schools are really like going big on the balloons.
SpeakerL C C schools take it very seriously in the south. It's so competitive, and there's like there's a lot of sororities, but very little or no, a lot of girls rushing. There was like 2,800 girls rushing and 19 houses, something like that. Yikes. Either at Arkansas or Alabama. Don't quote me.
Speaker 1So there's a lot of feelings getting hurt because people aren't getting picked.
SpeakerYeah, you don't automatically get picked. You have to get like, I don't fucking know. You have to fucking talk to people and see if they like you. And if you're like if they go through your social media, they look at everything, they look at your grades. I think they ask you why you want to do it. You have to like know the history of the house, probably, like some ideas. Oh boy. There's girls. I know there's girls that they're called basement girls, and they're like in the basement of the house. They don't like get seen during the uh there's not they're like it's just a downstairs, not the actual basement, but they're in they're down there like analyzing all the answers. All the girls are getting, you don't see them, but they're in there like making decisions, like making picks, like I don't know how it works, what they're analyzing on, but there's like girls down. That's what they call them. I didn't make this name.
Speaker 1Okay. I was like, are they the girls that aren't pretty enough to be in the the dancing videos? Like in that my head, that's where I went. I was like, wait, like what do you mean they're never seen? Like that's either.

No offense. But but yeah, no, they're very fascinating. A whole nother world, but good. We're in the same sorority. Those that's a sorority some of my roommates in college were in, so that's all I know. At Calvin. So we're in good company. Yeah, they seem like they had fun.

Peter Pan Girl And Disney Boundaries

Speaker 1And yeah, her her handle is Baby Tony99. And she's being accused. Yeah, she's being accused of stalking the Peter Pan at Disneyland.
SpeakerWell, she's been visiting Peter Pan at Disneyland consecutively, at least once a week. Yeah.
Speaker 1Uh again, I want to be careful about how I put this because I don't know her personal situation. And but what I can see with my own eyeballs and what everyone's talking about is she is basically harassing the actors who are playing Peter Pan. And it's all a bunch of different actors, it's not the same guy over and over again. Yeah, it is yeah, it's it's really it's half kind of alarming stalking. But yeah, it's odd.
SpeakerIt's like I don't know if she knows it's not real.
Speaker 1I don't either, and that's why I'm trying to be delicate with it because again, I don't know her like mental state. I I'm not sure what's going on.
SpeakerIt's just like it's what's going on, and these are the these are the facts. She visits Disneyland like once a week and she loves Peter Pan. Multiple, it seems like she like also stands in line for over and over again to to have an interaction with the actor who plays Peter Pan. And it doesn't matter who's playing Peter Pan. She has a nickname for him. She calls him Green Bean. She posted something like me and Green Bean are taking a break. I know a lot about Peter. Yeah, it's like she she thinks she's in a relationship with Peter. She's so bad because she didn't ask for this internet fame and she's not trying to be an influencer. She just like posted her, like she loves going to Disneyland, she loves being a Disney adult. And like, I think it's cool that people enjoy like I don't like making fun of people who are excited about something that they like. I think it's cool. She like had like all these matching outfits. Like her merch was sick. Like she was dripping in every color Mickey Mouse ears, and like that shit is not cheap. So like I respect her. And she was always matching like pink theme, like orange theme, and all these videos that are coming out. She's wearing like all orange, orange ears, orange dress, orange backpack. Like, she's on theme all the time. So, or with her own little like that's aside from the point. There's two things can be true. She can have cool Disney merch and it'd be in it's just hard to tell because like obviously Disney's Land is like a place, but there's like a there's a line, and she's definitely crossing it. She's like made him a crochet bird or something.
Speaker 1Yeah, okay. So I do want to talk talk about that. So I pulled this quote because she was interviewed, which came out yesterday by USA Today. Oh, she was aware of it. And this is her interview. Yes. This was her her quote. She said, quote, I don't even always meet him. I held a crochet dinosaur for nine weeks because we didn't see each other. I wouldn't have held it for nine weeks if I was crazy trying to find him. End quote.
SpeakerBut it's like helping or hurting her case, really, but it's not helping.
Speaker 1Like, but it's like honey, baby boo-boo. No, and I feel like if this was like a male like guest who was following around Cinderella, this wouldn't be taken at like it wouldn't be as like flippant as they're making it. Like that would be like harassment, that'd be stalking. That would seem dangerous. Uh I'm not saying that Tony is dangerous. It's just it I feel like she was never taught boundaries, and that's the problem. She doesn't understand that what she's doing is being perceived as creepy, and it's making you can tell the actor who's playing Peter Pan is uncomfortable. And I'm sure they all talk like they're all talking about her behind the scenes. They're like definitely being like, Oh yeah, that that girl's back again.
SpeakerHe's like, damn it, she's here. No, but they like interact. He tries to skip away from her sometimes, but sometimes they do like go up to her and like like it's kind of like she's not doing anything wrong by like law. I think she just like like I don't know if she what's her deal, but the person who's filming her also is not helping because they're they're enabling her, she's not always by herself, she's with someone who films her, yeah, and they're like not helping, they're kind of enabling. So I don't know.
Speaker 1It's definitely weird, but I do feel bad because she didn't ask to be like this TikTok celebrity she didn't, but she does have a lot of TikTok followers and she does capitalize on the fact that she is like she has is building this like Disney adult influencer kind of thing. So unfortunately, when you do something like that, you do open yourself up to criticism. And she posted But she the reason she got the attention is because she posted a nine-minute video of her following around Peter Pan and then cornering him in like the castle or whatever, like at like that moat that takes you from one side to the other. She was cornering him there and talking to him, and you could tell he's trying to like move away or talk to a child. He's turning against the wall. She wasn't having it, she was keeping him there, keeping him there, and it was just it's uncomfortable to watch, and I feel like she just needs to learn boundaries, awareness, boundaries, and personal space. I don't I don't know. I like I say, I don't want to like be mean to her. I just feel like it's just Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
SpeakerBecause there's nothing wrong with liking Disneyland or liking the character and buying all the merch and like doing all that. That's fine. Be excited about what you like. If you're passionate about going to Disneyland, that's where you want to spend your adult money. It's just like she the way she's doing it is weird, and the person who's filming is not helping. So but yeah, I don't know.

It was the way the show was edited and the way that they were breaking the fourth wall the whole time was kind of annoying because I'm like being reminded that they're making a reality show, and I'm like, I kind of just want to watch the reality show, and I also feel like it was like they could have done cooler stuff than like play dodgeball and like just like have random parties. Like it was go to cool events, they do cool stuff. Like I thought it was gonna be more about Sassy's life than just like this cast of people and like trying to make storylines within this cast, if that makes sense. Right. But yeah, I still like you thought you'd be able to watch her go to like the woman of like the world or whatever that yeah, like cool events that she's part of and like her book stuff, which is like the day-to-day life, and more just like an overview rather than like a small microscope part of her life with this like group of people.
Speaker 1Actually, we I feel like we should do like kind of like a little mini like summary of it. So, yeah, we're just talking about like everyone's watched it. So the show follows Stasi Schroeder Clark and her husband Bo Clark and their group of friends slash family. We have uh Bo and Stasi's sister both staying with them, kind of impeding on their space. We have um her friendship with Taylor Strecker and Teddy Donahue, which are her friends from New York. They came out here to LA to film, her friendship with Christina Kelly, which has been ongoing for the entire time, and her rec reconciliation with Katie Maloney, who she was friends with from Vanderpump Rolls. There was also Rob Evers, who is Bo's best friend. They're kind of on the outs right now. So we got to see that kind of play out, and that was a little awkward. And um, yeah, every it was based basically about like her life, and it seemed like maybe her just trying to like get back into reality TV. I feel like if they do, I do think they're gonna get a second season. I think if they get a second season, they'll be able to like kind of flesh out the problems a little bit more. I didn't mind them breaking the fourth wall, like I didn't mind the little stops with the asterisk.

Speaker 1I didn't mind it too much. I thought it was a little overkill, and I did yeah, I do agree where it was kind of like they kept saying, like, oh, this is for reality TV. I felt like she was pushing for them for people to fight and to have conversations because oh, we're filming today. Yeah, so it's like I didn't really love that. I understand that's probably what always happens when you are filming reality TV, but do I need to technically see you like push people into this fight? No, I just want to see them scream and fight at each other. That's like why I'm here.
SpeakerLike, I'm like, are we watching the making of a reality show, or are we?
Speaker 1I think that's I think I do think that was her point. She did want to show the making of a reality show, which she technically did. It just needs to be done better.
SpeakerLike it was like it didn't go all the way one way or the other. It was like either like you're showing the behind the scenes of just the show, or then show all of that, or are you making a reality show? Because I don't want to see like random, like the producers asking questions the whole fucking time in every confessional. It's like it takes away from it being a reality show where it's just like you're lost in that world of like them fighting, and then it's like, yeah, I don't know. It was almost there, but I feel like it they it ended on a cliffhanger, so they definitely have a second season, and it's like it has potential.
Speaker 1Well, they don't they don't know for sure, even still right now, they're still saying like they're waiting to be greenlit. So the main crux of season one was Stasi is pushing to work as much as possible. She is having all these shows on Hulu, she has multiple podcasts, she has her main podcast that she now just merged with Taylor Strecker, she has the podcast with her husband. She also was hosting the Tell Me Lies podcast. She's just like all over the place. She's being invited to events that she's attending, she's just like, you know, going all over the place. And her husband Bo is at home being a stay-at-home dad with the kids, and he is tired of it. He doesn't want to be a stay-at-home dad anymore. He wants to go back and get back into casting. He was like a casting director or something. So that was like the main crux of the show was them fighting, which I didn't like. I see, I think that's the other reason why I was kind of like, uh, because in my head they seemed like such a perfect couple on Vanderpump Rules. And I was like, oh man, like I don't like that they're having problems. Cause they felt like they were like the only stable couple to emerge from that show. So I'm like, ah crap, like my my bubble kind of got bursted. Yeah. Yeah.
SpeakerLike, I don't know. It was just like I get it, they're married, they have issues, but it's just like it was like every episode, and I wanted to see more of like the glamorous life that she's living after Vanderpump, and now that she has her own show, like the cool premieres they're going to.
Speaker 1Like they showed a little bit of it, but not like I feel like they just showed her getting ready for the premieres, and then that was it. So I'm like, was it because they couldn't technically film inside these events? Like, is that the issue that we're coming across here? Or like what is it?
SpeakerJust like getting ready, and she mentioned Chris Jenner like 50 times. I was like, Why? She did. Did you say, like, okay, yeah, we get it? Like everyone wants to be. She wants to be Chris Jenner? Yeah, so don't we all? But no. I mean, like, I get it. I do too. But like, I was just like, this this is a lot of mention of her. Like, speaking of Chris Jenner, like they show, they don't show like Kim going to the Met Gal. They do sometimes, but they show her getting ready for it, like the process of it, like the styling of it, like the behind the scenes. So just like that cool stuff. But I don't know.
Speaker 1It was not terrible, but it was Yeah, we just got to mainly see like just like the fighting. Um, I do wonder. I feel like she almost gave herself the villain edit, yeah, as opposed to giving it to anyone else. There there were a couple times where I was like, I don't know, she's an executive producer of the show, and I'm like, if I was executive producer, I wouldn't be showing showing this. Like, yeah, I I don't know.
SpeakerLike there's like I I can handle it, and no one else can because I've got the villain edit before, so she knows what it's like.
Speaker 1Right. Yeah. I I'm excited to see what they do for season two. But yeah, the cliffhanger that they left us on was at spoiler alert if you haven't watched it, I'm gonna spoil it. They were at the Queen Mary for a Christmas dinner or Christmas party, um, just kind of like celebrating. And her friends, I don't know why they did this. I mean, I it made for good TV.
SpeakerBut they held an interview.
Speaker 1They held an intervention for her for the relationship in her marriage with her husband. And while I do understand the sentiment behind it, I uh also understand that I like if if you were to come at me about my relationship with Robert, I'd have some choice words for you too. And I get that they're I get that they're worried, like we we've heard you you guys throw around the word divorce, and that's scary. And it was a group of people where the majority have been divorced and they understand what what that is, and you know, the telltale signs of like it impending, and I I get where their heart was, but like they had to have known that wasn't gonna go well. No, and it didn't. She she had a full on meltdown, a full on meltdown. As she should have been. And on it, like I I don't I don't blame her. Like I would be pissed.
SpeakerYeah, because it's like one you're talking behind my back, but then about all this shit, that's one, none of your business. What the fuck are you guys talking about? Like, it wasn't even like they were having like divorce conversations, like they were fine, they were just having like issues you they had to work through, but it like they said at the end, it wasn't like and marriage ending anything, anything like that. So, but like to me, I was like, there's no fucking way. Like, I have been watching the show Saucy on TV for a long time, and even I know that was gonna go horribly. In what world would you think that that would have gone well with her? Like, I don't know her personally. I know her from TV, and I could have told you that's a terrible fucking idea. Like, what are you talking about? Like, why would you have a friend intervention friend intervention, they called it, and ambush her, like and expect it to go well, especially Katie. I'm like, Katie, there's no way you thought this was a good idea. Yeah.
Speaker 1I mean, and then I think the what really pushed her over the edge was at first Bo was like asking him, like, wait, why are we talking about this? What are we doing? And then he not I don't want to say jumped on the bandwagon because that's not right in me saying that, but he did start pointing out ways where their marriage isn't very solid and where he feels like she doesn't put him first, or actually just him, because he's I one of the quotes that really broke my heart was like, You see your family, you see your kids, but you don't see me. And where he's telling her, I feel neglected, I feel like I'm not important to you, you know. Like I've been, I went back to work, and you don't ask me how my days, like, how was your day? Like, I she's just I'm not saying she's self-involved, she's just too involved with what she's doing. So she doesn't have the mental capacity to ask other people what's going on because she's so focused on just trying to get it done and provide for her family and make it happen. And that's also like something she brought up where if this was the other way around and Bo was the one who was at work and she was the one staying at home with the kids, no one would be talking about this. No. It's only because she's the woman and her husband's staying home that this is a quote unquote problem. Yeah. Where, you know, like if a man was doing if Bo was doing this and he was like, I'm doing this for the family, so we can have a a nice life, we can go on vacations, we can give the kids whatever they want. You know, we have a nice house over ahead. It wouldn't, we wouldn't be talking about it. And I do that's I see where her frustration is, where she's like, I'm doing this for us. Yeah. And it's not like she feels like it's probably not being appreciated. And but I also see Bo's point as well, where he's like, All I want is for you to like care about, like, yeah, show some level of interest in me. Like the fact that she doesn't ask him, hey, how was your day when he gets home? To me is odd.

Speaker 1And I feel like I do lead a really selfish lifestyle, which is how after watching the show, I'm like, oh fuck no, I am absolutely not ready to have a child at all because I like the life I lead right now. I like focusing on what I'm focusing on. But when Robert does come home at the end of the day, I always ask him, like, hey, how was work? And we fill each other in on like what what we did, who we talked to, funny stories or this or that. Like, I can't imagine him showing like coming home and me being like, hey, and then not talking to like following up with anything. Yeah. At the same time, I don't have two children running around screaming, and I am not running multiple businesses on the side as well. So I it's not really my place to talk, but it's just like an opinion. And I still love Stasi. I love Stassi and both together, but I love Stasi. And when I created this podcast, she was one of the people who I was listening to, and like I was like inspired by her podcast to start my own podcast. So I'm just like gonna root for her and yeah.
SpeakerFeel like it's still gonna get a season two, and I still want them to get a season two. She's inspiring, obviously. Like she still came back from all that, like, but I don't know. I was like, there's it's more like the production side. So that's why I'm like, it's not I don't know if it's the best idea to produce your own show. I mean, for yourself, yeah, obviously it's good because you can have the final say from a business standpoint and you get the money, but like from a quality of the show creative standpoint standpoint. I don't know if that's the best idea because you're too involved, and then your emotions and your everything is clouding, and your friendships and relationships are clouding the edit that everyone gets. So I don't know. It's not easy to do. So I'm not saying like, oh yeah, I could do this way better, because obviously, like it was still good, and I watched it all. So yeah, yeah.

Lindsay Clancy Case Timeline And Questions
Speaker 1We are going to talk about um something that's kind of heavy. I feel like we haven't really discussed anything that's heavy on the podcast. No, but it is timely, it is um what's going on. I'm I told Jay she's gonna lead this because she's the one who told me about it. She's the one, which I was which she asked me, oh, have you heard about it? I was like, no, I haven't, which is weird because I'm so chronically online, but I hadn't seen it. And uh we do want to make a disclaimer that we are um not lawyers, we are not doctors, we are just people who are on TikTok who um are watching everything unfold.

Speaker 1She on TikTok, she has a pretty thorough timeline of the events. What we are gonna be talking about is the Lindsay Clancy trial. Yes, and Jay, take it away. Again, she knows more about it than I do. She's gonna run this and I'm just gonna like interject with like probably questions.
SpeakerYeah, so I have notes, but like she said, I'm not a lawyer, I'm not a doctor, I'm not a medical professional, I'm not licensed in anything medical or I'm not okay. I'm we're just idiots that watch a bunch of TikToks. Okay, so this is what I've gathered from TikTok, and I've compiled my notes. So if I got anything wrong, my apologies. And it's a heavy topic, so there's disclaimers on everything.
Speaker 1Yeah, also we should do a trigger warning too. We're gonna be talking about death, murder, postpartum depression. So if those are sensitive subjects for you, I would forward to the rest of the episode. Skip the chapter, it's always linked by chapters.
SpeakerSo the trial started, I don't know when, but this all happened back in January of 2023 in Ducksbury, Massachusetts. So the children, three children, it was Lindsay, Clancy, and Patrick. Clancy was her husband. The three children, Cora, Dawson, and Callan, were sadly, horrifically murdered. The three kids. And it's right now the case is basically trying to prove whether Lindsay was in her right state of mind when the events took place. Did which cause she was experiencing mental health issues. She was misled by tons of doctors and on 13 different medications, and it's just she got terrible medical care, which shining a spotlight on the medical and mental health care system of our country, but that's a whole nother story for a whole nother day. But this is highlighting that, and she was in postpartum psychosis, and she allegedly killed the three kids and then tried to kill herself. She survived and is now paralyzed. So the trial is to determine whether or not she was mentally knowing that she was committing a crime or if she was in a right state of mind when she did it. It changes things. So that's what the kit trial is about. But so much has come out during the trial, which is like really crazy. So I don't even know where to begin. But the timeline is the main thing.
Speaker 1So when it Yeah, I think we should start with like what happened on the day of the Okay.
SpeakerThe murder, basically. The important timeline. It's between it all happens between 5 15 p.m. and 6 11 p.m. Okay, was when the 911 call was made. So at 5 15, Patrick leaves the house. 5 23. So there's other stuff that I added in here because it's important in the trial, in the timeline. So, like at 5 23, Lindsay's Apple Watch, that was her last recorded heart rate data. This has come out in the trial. And her heart rate recording stopped, and it was reported at 57 beats per minute. Patrick sent an email at 5.24 p.m. when all of this was taking place from his account. He he claimed he doesn't know if it was from his phone or his laptop, but the defense is saying it's from a Surface Pro, which they have metadata. It's not proven for sure. And then at 5 32, he was at CBS. So what happened was Lindsay called in there was in dinner, and they her daughter Cora needed something from CBS. So Patrick ran out to get those things, pick up dinner, or to go to CBS and pick up dinner. And Lindsay, in that time, allegedly killed her kids and then tried to kill herself in that period of time. So there's like a lot of holes that are happening because in that period of time, if he sent that email from his laptop, that would have made him home during that time. So that's like a hole in his timeline. There's also stuff about her going up the stairs, and then Patrick called her and she didn't answer, and then she called him back. They had a 14-second conversation, and then he on his testimony said that he she sounded busy but normal. And then he goes to CBS. There's like footage of him at CBS and then footage of him at the restaurant, and then he goes back home, he finds Lindsay and claims that she allegedly said that she killed the the kids are in the basement, or something like that. And they're dead. They're dead. I killed them, or something like that. She has not officially ever confessed to the police anything, but she told Patrick that she did it over the phone from her psychiatrist. So when the paramedics got there, she was outside of the house in the snow, and she had like because supposedly sh the what they're saying is that she jumped from the second story window.
Speaker 1They're saying which is why she is now paralyzed.
SpeakerIn that time that Patrick was gone, they're saying she killed the kids with exercise bands in the ba and put them in the basement, all three kids, except for one. The baby was alive, he was resuscitated, and then he died a few days later. But and then went upstairs and then she tried to slit her wrist and I believe her throat and then jumped out the window. So she survived and was paralyzed. But when paramedics got her t body temperature at the hospital, it was 82.1 degrees and had severe hypothermia, which would mean she would have had to been in the snow for an extremely long time.
Speaker 1So that's just another longer than the less than an hour timeline that he is providing.
SpeakerSo there's weird stuff about like who was actually in possession of her Apple Watch. Also, the Apple Watch they didn't take from like they didn't seize us evidence right away. Like her lawyer, who's Kevin Reddington is her lawyer, he's doing a phenomenal job at defending her case and the prosecution and their fuck-ass bows. Oh my god. And their lack of ability to We'll talk about that later. Lack of ability to have wash their hair is something that's a crime in itself. If this wasn't so heavy, that would be a criminal offense. But, anyways, so yeah, there's a lot of stuff happening, and today, when we were like preparing for this, they like called the day short and let the jury go home early during due to unforeseen circumstances, and they told them not to speculate on anything. So who knows what happened.
Speaker 1Yeah, so they did ask, um, or like it was asked of Kevin Reddington, the defense attorney, did you call for a mistrial? He said no. I'm not trying to restart this entire thing again. Like, no, no mistrial. Um, so it's not from the defense's standpoint. So, as a like, as you guys are listening to this, we will have already found out why they cut today's trial short, today's like court hearing short. Okay, I also told Jay this, and I'm trying to do the same thing. I don't want to make declarative statements. No, everything is alleged. Again, we are just two people who are on TikTok theories.
SpeakerConspiracy theory. First of all hats on. They're theories. Yeah. We don't know shit, okay.
Speaker 1With that being said, what I find odd is talking about moving on quickly, he her Patrick Clancy is already remarried. His choice of wife is interesting because she is basically Lindsay Clancy's twin, which I I find weird. And she knew the couple before any of these events transpired. She was in their lives and yeah, they're part of some run club um or whatever the fuck was going on. Um yeah, they do marathons together. Great. Um happy you have interests. And it just uh I feel like the I feel like the prosecution is doing a really, really bad job. And I feel like the investigators didn't really investigate this to the best of their ability because it I it's like they took Patrick Clancy on his word when he said, This is what she said to me. And they said, Okay, great, open a check case. Uh-huh. Um, we'll try her for murder of her three children and call it a day. And now she has her defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, who is poking so many holes into their stories, into the prosecution's theories, which the theory is waffling back and forth. She's they're going between did Patrick untie the exercise bands from his child's throats to all of a sudden there weren't any ties. It was just wrapped. It's like they're flip-flopping back and forth between their ideas.
SpeakerEverything their client, Patrick, has been saying, and they are their witnesses that they've called in have also been disproving stuff he said. So it's making him look really sketchy. And I don't know why he he was apparently sitting on the couch when they EMS, like emergency services arrived. Yeah.
Speaker 1And she was he didn't try to do C C PR on any of his children. And I I'm not a parent. I don't know what it's like to be in a situation like this. But I would assume that if you saw your child or anybody that you would attempt to do life-saving measures to bring them back to life, especially it being your child. I personally have been in a couple different situations where I have had to perform CPR on somebody and everything worked out all gravy. But to I don't like you could call it shock or whatever you want. Um I feel like the prosecution is building is basically building a case against uh Patrick Clancy. And the the defense is sh is pointing it in the direction of she did not murder these kids. And if she did, she was obviously of not of sound mind. No, because over a course of three months, she was given 14 different medications. Not 13. That is insane. She had enough to like knock out a horse.
SpeakerShe was crying out for help, and she was asked trying to seek professional help. She went to like a facility, she checked herself in, she told people about her mental state, she told them her thoughts, she told them she wasn't okay. She had postpartum, so they're determining whether she was criminally responsible or not, or she because she's in postpartum psychosis. But she uh anyone would be in psychosis on 13 different medications, and like that's insane.
Speaker 1The place she checked herself into ended up dismissing her because she didn't quote unquote fit their description. So even when she was asking for help, so that's on the whole entire mental and medical health field that in the United States is just crumbling and has never been great. And this is just a real prime example of how shitty it is over here.
SpeakerIt doesn't really matter. I mean, it does matter how the case turns out, but at the end of the day, she still lost her kids, which is terrible.
Speaker 1So, like she's still paralyzed, and her children are dead.
SpeakerSo she even if she is like it's just all bad all around and it's really sad, but it's just a lot of weird things are happening coming out about the case with Lindsay and uh Rachel, his new wife, looking so similar. Like, why would you I don't know. I that's something else. And then him and his best friend look similar, and then also this is something He's surrounded by doppelgangers. Yeah, no, it's so weird. This whole case has like so many doppelgangers, it's creepy.
Speaker 1Yeah, so what she's saying is there are this is the theory, this is not proven, this is not fact. This is a theory that sounds the most plausible that we've heard. What people are speculating that it is possible he was at the house when this happened, and possibly his now new wife was there as well because Lindsay had said that when all this was happening, she heard a man's voice telling her to do this and then she she saw herself murder her children.
SpeakerSo if you're on that amount of magic, what she thought and if you're on that amount of psychosis and you are in that state of mind, your first of all, heart rate wouldn't be that low if you're doing all that. But second of all, um, maybe it is, I don't know, but it's just like it's so crazy. Like you could see yourself doing it because sh her his new wife looks like so much like her that she might have thought, yeah, in that state of mind, that that was herself doing it. It and then he told her she did it. So the only proof that she did it, I'm not saying she didn't, I'm not saying she didn't. The only proof is that he said she did, and that she called him from the psychiatrist's phone in the hospital, and the psychiatrist allegedly told her to tell her husband, Patrick, that she was hearing voices, and the voices told her to do this. So there's a lot of weird stuff coming out, a lot of holes in the story. I don't know what any of it means. I'm not a lawyer, and I don't know how this all adds up. But it's turning out to look like there's more to the story because when they showed that email or the time of the email to Patrick, he like almost he froze and he was like so weirded out.
Speaker 1So I also think it's important it's important to note that his parents testified in defense of her. And they said that she was a great mother, but she was asking for help. That she knew she was struggling and suffering, but that she was a good mom.
SpeakerAnd she she was trying to do trying and she would just try to do something about it.
Speaker 1She wasn't getting it. And and I think why would his parents testify in favor of her murdering their children? I feel like that I feel like there's something to to that.
SpeakerAnd very important to note that he was like in Costa Rica, like very rec soon after the children's passing. Twenty days after. 20 days after, not just that, but he wrote a review, which is like 20 days after your kid, you're writing a review on like some rainforest hike, too.
Speaker 1It's like Yeah, he was writing a a positive sociopath a positive Yelp review on the trail he took in Costa Rica.
SpeakerLike what?

SpeakerSo in that sense, that right there tells me you're a psycho. There's something off adding up. Now I'm not a doctor or a detective or anything. But well, it's just also interesting that, like, for example, a lot of people on TikTok I've been reading, I've been saying, like, we're not blindly supporting this lady because she's a woman, and people I'm not like fully in support of her either. Like, no matter what happened, the kids died and they were some murdered. Whether she did it or not, that's to be determined. But it's just like something's not sitting right with every woman that's watching this case, so that has to mean something. There's some injustice happening somewhere. So there's a lot of clues that aren't adding up, a lot of a questions that need to be answered for like, and she's like, people were saying, like, we're not blindly supporting her because she's a woman, like, no one supported Casey Anthony. Like, right.
Speaker 1Just because she was a woman, you can you can see right and wrong.
SpeakerYeah, and so you can see the the difference. The difference is that this lady tried everything she could, and she was failed by doctors and medical professionals that should have been helping her, and that's another huge part of this story that's shining a spotlight on which this shit needs to change. So, like, if anything comes out of it, like she is possibly helping move the needle on that front, hopefully. Maybe not. I don't know.
Speaker 1Yeah, I think that's what it's really pointing out is how like sh she was failed by so many levels of people, like for her to for it to for it to end up to where where we're at right now, so many people had to turn her away. And that is like that's going against like the the entire point of like the mental health care system. Yeah, like you're you go there in hopes that they can at least bring you some kind of peace or uh just some kind of clarity, and the amount of people that told her no is appalling, or just gave her terrible care and like poorly managed to be like they just loaded her up with drugs and kicked her out.
SpeakerYeah, like there's she was also a nurse, so she there's a lot of other things that are like holes in the story, yeah, but I don't know the details. And we're not gonna like you know perpetuate internet conspiracy theories on this like actual real because these are still people's real lives and real yeah, it's still a real murder trial, so it's not light internet. And it's not over. We don't know what else is gonna come out or like people are making it out to be, and like we're not actually on the jury watching it through TikTok or watching it live. Like it is fascinating, it's is compelling, but it's not a TV show, it's people's lives, so it's uh hard to watch, but it's like I don't know. There's a reason why everyone's so compelled by it, and I feel like that's yeah says something. I don't know what, but it says something.
Speaker 1No, I agree. Yeah, it's it's an um I'll be interested to see how this is all gonna shake out. I don't know if by the time we do September pop culture if the trial will be done. I I I don't know the timeline of it, but no.

SpeakerI feel like usually in a trial you get answers and it just keeps getting more and more confusing, and there's more added, like weird information, and it's like the prosecution is doing weird shit and asking weird questions. Like they asked his mom about religion, like, is it a mortal sin? Are you they're like, Are you a member of the Catholic Church? She's like, Yeah, and then she was they're like, uh, is it like a mortal sin to murder someone in the Catholic? And it's like, why are you like the judge nipped that so quickly?
Speaker 1Like, hello? Yeah, I also think this is really I'm gonna once everything is done and said said and done, I want to know what's gonna happen with this prosecution team because they are dog shit, they're terrible.
SpeakerTerrible in law who want who need to be they're doing terrible for women empowerment. They're just they're doing this yeah, they're not it. Like, no, it's ridiculous. Yeah, it's an abomination of a fucking prosecution. I'm like, what are you guys doing? What's your plan here? I don't know anything about law.

Reported Death News And Neutrogena Backlash
Speaker 1of news. Yes. Uh so this was two days ago two days ago, three days ago. So on August 16th, Hayden Panetier passed, which was shocking. I don't think any of us were expecting that. Um it as of right now, it's being suspected as cardiac arrest after an accidental overdose.
SpeakerSad. Another trigger. So yeah, yeah, another trigger warning. Yeah. She was in Greenville, South Carolina. South Carolina. And Airbnb with her Ongan Offigan boyfriend and his brother. His brother came, who is his brother's like a pastor or something. A preacher. Um and there was Narcan found, so I don't know if they tried that or what happened, or if yeah, who knows the details, but it's terrible and sad, and sending her family love, especially her daughter.
Speaker 1Yeah, and she was very open about um her own depression and her own postpartum depression, speaking of, and um and her journey issues, yeah. Her issues with uh alcohol and substance abuse, as well as how everything was re triggered again three years ago when her younger brother passed. So I guess that's another thing we'll find out more information about, but super sad. Also, I do want to talk about um Neutrogena's getting cancelled because of this. Because well, I'm glad I don't use their products. Well, okay, so what they did is when she was on live with I believe it at that point it was Kelly and Michael. Yeah. And she was she wasn't planning on it, but she was talking about her postpartum depression, her journey with postpartum depression. And Neutrogena tried to fire her because it didn't fit with their morality clause. Her representatives told Neutrogena that is illegal. You cannot do that, and we've had a relationship with you for 10 years. So on at the end of that year, Mark, they just never renewed her contract, they didn't reach out to her to check on her, see how she was doing, check on her well-being, thank her for her 10 years of service, basically. Yeah, and now Neutrogene is getting cancelled, and I'm here for it. Fuck them.
SpeakerYeah, that's crazy. Speaking of post-party, that's insane. So hopefully these terrible events, with all that being said, lead to some sort of change. Fingers crossed, yeah, low expectations, but a little bit of hope that maybe this will like open the conversation and like change shit. Who knows?

Wilbur The Pig Loose In WeHo
Speaker 1We have it's like from our quote unquote local news section, West Hollywood news again. Not intentionally, it just that's what happened. There has there or not has been, there was a pig that was running around West Hollywood. On the loose, he was on the loose, and he was originally the animal, not like a person. Oh, yeah, yeah. We're we're not being mean here. There was a legit pig that was running around the streets of West Hollywood. It was captured. I want to give him credit. His TikTok candle is at uh Jamal, J A M A A A A W, posted a video. He was on an electric bike uh chasing this random little pig that was running through the streets of West Hollywood. He was trying to catch him because he knew he didn't belong there, and um, he was eventually eventually captured and uh was taken to the West LA animal shelter. He has been nicknamed Wilbur, and he is believed to be a pet, and they are waiting for him to be claimed. I will post the interview that CBS LA did with Wilbur to do a little mini profile on him, but he was very cute as he was racing through the streets of West Hollywood.
