Chilled tequila shots. A wobbly frat-house table. A secret hookup that turns a chill friend group into a courtroom. If you like your storytelling funny, painful, and way too real, this solo drop delivers the full Gremlin menu: Gremlin Stories, Gremlin Guidance, and Gremlin Gossip, all in one place.
We start with two listener submissions that are equal parts hilarious and horrifying. One bachelorette trip to Mexico gets wrecked by Montezuma’s Revenge, and the culprit isn’t the food, it’s the ice hiding inside “safe” drinks. Then we relive a college party moment that ends with a front tooth on the floor and a lifetime lesson about tables that look sturdy until they aren’t.
From there, I dig into relationship advice and friendship boundaries. What happens when someone quietly nurses a crush, never says a word, and then acts betrayed when two friends hook up? I share my take on responsibility, possessiveness, and the only apology that actually helps. We also get into the question people Google nonstop: can you stay friends with an ex without sabotaging future relationships? I talk maturity, jealousy, and the boundary checks that matter.
Close it out with Gremlin Gossip that goes dark fast, including cheating for “excitement” and the fallout when someone cheats with their boss. If this hit a nerve, subscribe, download the episode, and leave a five-star rating, then share your hot take: where do you draw the line with friends, exes, and loyalty?
Water Cheers And Life Updates
SPEAKER_00Okay, cheers guys. Okay. Emily with Emily to Gremly here with another solo episode. I haven't done a solo episode in a moment, but I want to welcome all new new listeners and welcome back, all returning listeners. Thanks for tuning in. The episode drink of the week, which I almost just knocked over and I spilled coming in here, thankfully is non-alcoholic. Otherwise, I would have been really, really bummed that I spilled the sweet nectar of the gods. Um, I am just having water today, which I do know I have been told already. I know, I know, I know. It's bad luck to cheers with water. But I have stuff I have to do after this. So I'm just being a responsible adult. Kind of, I don't know. I don't feel like an adult, but whatever. That's a story for a different day. Um, so yeah, I'm just being responsible and not drinking before stuff I have to do. I mean, I could drink and just make it a little more fun, but I think I'd annoy other people. So uh yeah, just water today, and I was gonna do like a little lemon twist, and I remembered I was going to do it when I sat down in the chair and I had set everything up already, and I I just didn't want to get back up and and pause everything and then go make a lemon twist, and it's just uh it sounds like a lot of work. But I did put my water in a martini glass to romanticize my life and make me feel like I'm, I don't know, drinking, I guess. I don't know. I don't know what I'm talking about. Anyway, um, this is the first episode I'm doing solo in three weeks. I was gonna say four weeks, but it's three weeks. But yeah, I had to kind of like get back in the groove of it as I was creating this episode and making the outline. I wasn't bummed. I don't want to say bummed because that's not the right word, but I was just like, I don't know, I just realized how much I enjoy having guests on the show because I get to collaborate with them. So, but I mean, obviously, I love making this podcast with someone or by myself, but it was just so much fun to collaborate with my three guests. So, August Leo series is obviously done. We're no longer in Leo season anyway, we're in Virgo season. But um, yeah, I think wait, when this episode airs, it's gonna be September 1st. So we're not even in August anymore, anyway. Right now, I currently am in August, but as you guys are listening to this, it'll be September. So yeah. Unfortunately, no more August Leo series. I did get a funny question. I was asked if I was gonna start basing my guests on their zodiac sign and try to like group people in, like all the Leos together, all the Virgos, all the Libras. And while that would be fun in theory, I obviously don't want to limit myself to only having certain people during certain times of the year. Also, I just have a weird influx of Leo friends. I think I said this in the Jackie episode. I seem to just like collect Leos like infinity stones, and I don't know, maybe it's just who I gravitate towards. I also gravitate towards a lot of Aries. So like it's just I, you know, the fire signs. I I guess I like to stick with them. But um, as far as the other signs, no, I'm not gonna just like limit myself to only having, you know, only Virgos for, you know, the next four weeks and then after that, Libras. So the guests will just come on as they come on. But it was just fun to have a little Leo series. Maybe I'll do it again next year. I don't know. Um, we shall see. But no, I'm not gonna just limit myself to only um inviting people on when it's their season of the year. Also, I don't want people to like only be able to come on once a year. If if people are willing and able to come on multiple times a year, I welcome that. Such as Jay, who she is coming back monthly to do pop culture episodes. So yeah, that was a lot of fun. But today we are back to our regularly scheduled programming. Why was that hard for me to say? Regularly. Did I say that correctly? I feel like I've said it multiple times now because I've said it and I've edited out me saying it incorrectly, but I said it so many times now that I it's starting to not sound like a word. Regularly scheduled programming. I think I said that correctly. If I didn't, oh well. Um, and I think I've said it so many times, it's gonna get picked up and suggested as an episode title. But we are back to our original format of Gremlin stories, Gremlin Guidance and Gremlin Gossip. A reminder to all of you out there if you have your own Gremlin story, you need Gremlin guidance, or you have a juicy juicy piece of Gremlin gossip, feel free to write that in at EmilyTogremladepod at gmail.com or message or DM me on social media. You can find me on Instagram and TikTok at EmilyTogremelaypod. And make sure to let me know if you'd like to remain anonymous or not. That is very, very important. Also, I feel like maybe I don't know if it's gonna be visible. If you're watching on YouTube, my hands are all fucked up. Um, my I overstimulated my cat. Well, I did technically I didn't do it. I was just rubbing his belly and he freaked out and he scratched the shit out of my hands. And then in getting ready today, I felt like my hair was long enough to where I could curl it. It's not. Um, I burned the ever-loving fuck out of my knuckle, and I didn't really have time to tend to the wound, so I don't know what's going on underneath this band-aid. But um, yeah, my hands are all jacked up. So if you're watching on YouTube, I am not cutting myself and I am not in bare knuckle fights. I am just um, I don't know, I'm having a moment, I guess. Um, but not that kind of a moment. Just I I don't know, just I'm I also have bruises on my leg because I keep bumping in the stuff. I'm just, I guess, really klutsy this past like week or so. So yeah, uh, don't pay attention to that. I feel like maybe I just brought attention to it and nobody was seeing it, but I was worried people would see it and then think, I don't know, think something because it just looks so ugly. Um I put a bunch of oils on so I don't scar, but like, ugh, God. Okay, let's stop talking about my problems and start talking about your problems.
Mexico Trip Ends In Misery
SPEAKER_00We have some gremlin stories with us. Let's see, this first one comes to us from Maddie. Maddie, oh gosh, I remember this. Maddie says, Dear God, I have the worst story. It's funny now because it's behind me, but I was suffering. I took a girl's trip to Mexico for a friend's bachelorette party. We went to an all-inclusive resort and were having the best time ever. But on the second day, I started to feel a little iffy. A couple of other girls were feeling the same. By the second night, we were all down with what I can only describe as Montezuma's revenge. Ugh. While we were regrouping, we were trying to figure out what made us sick. The food was delicious, no dishes seemed ill prepared, and we were careful to only drink bottled water. But then the bride finally figured it out. We had been taking chilled tequila shots, the shots being chilled with most likely ice made from tap water. I'm surprised it took us two days to get sick since we had had so many shots since arriving. We ended up extending the trip two extra days because we were so sick and knew we couldn't fly home. Ugh. It was a horrible trip and I felt really bad for the bride. We ended up doing a nice dinner back at home once we had all recovered. But a word of caution to anyone traveling to Mexico: don't chill your shots. Maddie. Ugh. Oh god. I so I obviously I've been to Mexico. I know you're not supposed to drink the water, and I've never done that. But also, I also don't chill my shots. Like, I'm kind of gross. I'm willing to drink it warm if need be. Um, but that's just because I'm a sewer rat. Um, but yeah, I would, I would have never made the connection that chilling your shots would infuse it with the water and therefore make someone sick. Like, I would have assumed that I ate something, that something was wasn't handled properly or something. Even though like all-inclusive resorts are usually like extremely nice and it's like they're well taken care of and whatnot. But I yeah, I don't think I would have made the connection. I would have assumed I got sick from the food. But for everyone to get sick, I doubt every single person was eating the exact same dish. So yeah, I guess after a while you just deduce what have we all been ingesting. That's the same. Oh, the chilled shots. Okay, well, now we know. Don't chill your shots. Um, be like me. Just drink warm liquor if need be. It's not like it's I like it warm. It's just, you know, rarely are you gonna find bottles of alcohol in my fridge or my freezer. They're usually just sitting like out in like the quote unquote bar area. I don't know. Well, now we know. No chilling of shots in Mexico. Is Mexico the only place that has this issue? Like, I'm assuming it's other countries too. We just know about it because Mexico's the closest to us, right? I assume. I don't
Table Dancing Leads To Tooth Loss
SPEAKER_00know. Okay, next gremlin story comes to us from Claire. Claire says, This happened several years ago, and even though it was extremely traumatic, I'm ready to share. I'll set the scene for you. I'm 19 and a sophomore in college. I'm drinking at a frat house, having the absolute time of my life. I, for some reason, decide it would be sexy to dance on top of a table. I hop on this wobbly table and begin twerking. Poorly, I might add. The table eventually gives way and slips underneath my feet, and down I go. I was drunk and uncoordinated, so I was unable to stop my fall with my hands, so my face hit the floor. I popped up so embarrassed, trying to pretend like nothing happened, but a group of people swarmed me to help with the river of blood pouring out of my mouth. My friend looked down and picked up my front tooth and showed it to me in horror. I just began sobbing. I had to call my parents and explain to them what happened and how I knocked out my own tooth. And thankfully, they got me into a dentist. The tooth was replaced, but I received the lecture to end all lectures from my parents, and I became the butt of the joke for the rest of college. It was definitely character building, though, and I learned my lesson to never step foot on a table. Claire. Oh god. I honestly, when I skimmed this, I thought you were gonna say you broke your nose, but then you knocked out your tooth. I don't know which is worse. It's kind of like a Sophie's choice. I don't know why I made this Sophie's choice for myself anyway. What would you rather have? A broken nose or a missing tooth? Like they were both terrible, but I don't know. That's just the way my brain worked at that moment. Um that is terrible. I think having the the the tooth knocked out would be worse. No? I don't know. Tooth or nose, tooth or nose. Like I maybe because my nose is just so messed up from misusing it so long. But I like my teeth, like I would never be able to like smile. Like you can't smile and you can't talk, especially if it's your front tooth. Like if I knocked out my tooth later today, I would I wouldn't be able to come back and podcast. At least not like put it on YouTube. And then like I wonder, would I have like a list? Like, would I be like, why am I putting this in out into the universe? Like anyway, Claire, I am so sorry you knocked out your tooth. At least you were able to get it fixed, it seems like right away. Yeah, you had to hear it from your parents, but at least it you have you have the tooths. God, that like it gave me the chills when I read that. I ugh. Um, but yeah, if you anyone out there has um knocking your teeth out stories, I guess send those in, along with your poop stories like Maddie. Ugh, grease. Um but yeah, Claire, I'm so sorry that happened to you. Yeah, your your teeth are just they're so precious. Ugh, okay. Well, I feel dysregulated.
Friend Group Fallout After Hookup
SPEAKER_00Let's go jump into some gremlin guidance. Um, all right. This first one is from Anonymous. Oh, also let me do like not a disclaimer on this, but I'll tell you guys my fuck up. This, so I set a gremlin guidance question for each of my guests for the August Leo series. Jackie answered one and Michael answered one. Jay was supposed to answer one, and I literally just forgot to put it in the outline because we were going back and forth so much about what pop culture we were gonna talk about. We were talking heavily about the Lindsay Clancy trial because we were trying to discuss how to talk about it delicately. So I feel like I that just like overtook my brain, and then we were talking, you know, the last half of the episode was just so heavy and like depressing. So we were talking so much about that, like off camera, trying to decide how to talk about it, that I forgot to put in the gremlin guidance question that I had set aside for her. This question you're gonna hear now is the one she was going to answer. So I did tell her what it was after the fact. I realized it like, I don't know, a few days ago, after way after the episode came out. And she told me what she would have said if she was given the question on air. So I'll let you know what her answer was. And her and I kind of had the same answer, to be honest. So this is from Anonymous. Anonymous says, please help. I'm in a bit of a pickle and not sure what I should do since I've never been in a situation like this. I have a friend group of an original six people, four women and two men, which formed in college. There has never been any dating amongst the group. We have all just legitimately been friends and nothing more. Around this time last year, I started a new job and became friends with a male coworker, Z. He was somewhat new to our city, so I invited him out with us and he became a part of our group. Over the past year, we have had a friends giving, celebrated birthdays, etc. About a month ago, Z and I were sent out of town for a meeting. On the last night, we went out for drinks and ended up sleeping together. We didn't want it to ruin the friendship or the group, so we decided to keep it a secret. But when we were back home, we ended up hooking up a few more times. Eventually, the cat was out of the bag and the group found out. Everyone was teasing us except one friend, M. She was genuinely hurt. At first I thought she was hurt, I didn't tell her to begin with, since we were the closest and roommates in college, but her hurt turned into anger and disgust. I find out that she has had a crush on Z since I introduced him to the group and now feels like I swooped in and took him away from her. I sincerely had no idea she had any romantic feelings for him, and she has never mentioned to me that she liked him. On top of it, Z had no idea she had thought of him in any sort of way. Now the group seems divided. Two friends are siding with M, saying I need to apologize for hurting her feelings and straining the friend group. The rest are questioning her along with myself, saying none of us had any idea she had feelings for Z, so technically I didn't do anything wrong. And worst of all, now Z feels awkward. What should I do? Anonymous. Okay. So I told this to Jay, and her and I had pretty much the same initial reaction. It's I'm look, I since it's not M who's the one who's writing in, um, I'm just gonna say, like, M, you snooze, you lose. Like it in what realm do you think people can just like read your mind and know that you like somebody and that person's off limits? So that was Jay and I's take on that. Where it's like if you don't make your feelings clear, how is anyone supposed to know what they are? Like, we're not mind readers over here. So I personally feel like Em is acting really possessive over somebody she doesn't have a right to be possessive about. This isn't someone who she made her feelings clear to, to that specific person. She never told Z she had romantic feelings for him. She never confided in her friends, her friend group, you, the writer of this guidance, she never made her feelings known to anyone. She kept them to herself and then expected people to just stay away from him. Like, I I don't I don't get it. I think the people, the two friends that are siding with M are not being fair to you. Like, if you had done this, if you had known about her feelings and done this on purpose and it, you know, or anything like that, I could see where, like, yeah, you are, you know, disrespecting the friendship or, you know, straining the friend group, but you didn't, and it's not like this was a planned thing. So it's like it is it just because he was in the group, she figured nobody else was gonna go after him because there has been no like co-mingling of the people in the group. Like, I I'm assuming that's her thought process on it. I don't understand it and I don't agree with it, but I that's the only way I can get to a logical like sense of why she's acting like this. But I mean, to now the fact that this that Z, this guy, feels awkward, it like that sucks too, because he was integrated into this friend group and now he feels weird, like he feels like he's you know ruined the dynamics of the group. So I'm sure he's like wanting to like stay away and have nothing to do with it. I personally think Em needs to get over it. Like, I don't think her her feel like I don't want to invalidate someone's feelings, but it's like like I we what are we doing here? Like, I'm so confused. To have some kind of like weird claim on someone without telling people you have a claim on him is just like this is bananas. I don't think she's right. If you want anonymous, if you want to try to mend the friendship, then I would just be like, I would say, like, look, I didn't do this like to hurt you. Like, I didn't know you had feelings for him. He's not an ex-boyfriend of yours, it's he's not an ex-hookup of yours. Like, they've had no romantic physical contact whatsoever. So it's not like you broke some girl code or some friend code. I think I hon like honestly, I want to tell her to like shove it, but I get wanting to like make peace. So if you want to just make peace, I would just say, like, I am so sorry. I genuinely, I did not know. No one in the group knew. I wouldn't, I would never do anything to jeopardize our friendship, hurt our friendship. Um, I would never like choose a guy over, you know, a friend. So I hope you know that. And this was just like it just kind of happened. And if I would have known your feelings, I would have never done it. And just say it like that. But if she thinks, if she like keeps this going and like makes it a thing and like dismantles the group over her jealousy, then like this is wild. Um, yeah, I that I that's how I would go about it, and she needs to sort out her feelings on her own, and the next time she has a crush, make it known to at least the friends, just be like, hey, yeah, I totally have a crush on this guy, you know, just waiting to get over it, or I don't, I don't know, but it's like to like mark your territory on someone without letting other people know is like like I'm confused, like we're not like fucking mind readers here. I'm how how is anyone supposed to know this? Especially like if you were the only one who didn't know and the rest of the group knew, then I could see where people are like uh like feeling weird about it, but literally no one in the group knew. And it's just like what do I'm confused, and Jay said the same thing, where it was just like how was anyone supposed to know? Like, if like her and I were like to put ourselves in this situation, if she had a crush on someone and I didn't know about it, and then I slept with them, she wouldn't have the right to be mad about that, and vice versa, like or like you would think we're close enough where we would tell each other, Oh, yeah, I have a crush on this guy, or I like this guy. Why is sh why is M not talking about her feelings with her friends? So I yeah, I think M is overreacting and just needs to get over it, you know? And if she can't, if she thinks that you're like malicious enough to like take her man, then And like, do you really want to be around somebody who thinks that you're like a shit person? No. So that's my advice. That's Jay's advice. And write back in. Let us know what happens, what went down. Hopefully it all works out. Hopefully it resolves itself. And hopefully she realizes she's kind of being irrational. Like that's honestly what she's being. It's irrational for her to think that you have done anything wrong. Plain and simple. That's my advice. Okay. I'm gonna drink some water because I can't have any alcohol. Okay.
Can You Stay Friends With Exes
SPEAKER_00The next Gremlin guidance is also from Anonymous. Anonymous says, Do you think it's possible to stay friends with an ex? My ex and I broke up, but I want to remain friends. Right now I do think it's possible, but do you think this will turn toxic or ruin future relationships? Anonymous. This one, it was one of those where I was like, uh, I'm gonna have a hard time answering it. But it's just because I personally have never stayed friends with any of my exes, usually because I like to burn my bridges on my way out. Um, but that's just me and my toxic behavior. But I do think it is possible if both parties are like mature about it. I was trying to think of literally anyone in my life who is friends with an ex, and the old I could only think of people who have children with them and then they're kind of forced to be in each other's lives. And I couldn't think of anyone who's friends with their ex who they don't share a kid together, and they're literally just friends because they're friends. I could I personally don't have an example of that, and I I thought long and hard about it, but yeah, the only person I could think of who like they stayed friends with and they were like really close was my nana and my grandpa, but they had my mom. Like, I they got they were married and then they divorced when my mom was like, I don't know, like two maybe, and then they were obviously they had to stay in contact because they had my mom, and then he got remarried twice to the same lady, by the way, very soap opera-like, but then she was like my nana was best friends with his wife, they called each other sister wives, and yeah, it was just like it was like a healthy dynamic. Well, I don't know about for my mom growing up, but when I was around, it was like a healthy dynamic to be around. Like everyone like was copacetic and they, you know, co-parented, raised me, and whatnot. So that was the only example I could think of. But as far as like staying friends with an ex just like for the sake of being friends, I do think it is possible. Have I ever done it personally? No, and yeah, but I mean, and do I think it'll turn toxic? I mean, if you guys have like lingering feelings, or you think if you see him with somebody else, you'll be jealous, or vice versa, if he sees you with somebody else, will he be jealous of you or of the other guy? Or like, are you honestly just gonna be happy for each other? Like, I think it's it's just kind of like a case by case, person by person scenario where you don't 100% know, I guess, until you're in it, and then also you have to think like whoever you're gonna start dating next, are they gonna be okay with you having a friendship with somebody who you used to date? And then I try to put myself in that position. Would I be okay if my boyfriend was friends with an ex? I mean, I wouldn't tell him he, oh, you're not allowed to be friends with this person because I don't like ultimatums and I don't like stuff like that. But is it possible it would make me uncomfortable? Maybe. But also I haven't been put in that situation. So I don't know what I would do. I can tell you, I think I would be mature about it, and I would just like, you know, if I trust him, I trust him. If I don't, I don't, you know, but I don't know what I would do in that situation either. I would like to think I'm mature and I would just be able to like, you know, have it roll off my back, but sometimes I'm not really much of an adult, so I don't know. I do think it is possible. It's just it depends on the person. And then, like, you know, do you think it'll affect future relationships? Hopefully it won't. Hopefully everyone's just allowed eight, hopefully, everyone's just able to be, you know, intermingled and friendly and whatnot. Yeah, I don't know. I was I was thinking about like on TV shows, like they do it all the time, like on Friends, but Ross and Rachel ended up together in the end anyway, so I don't know. Um, and that also that's TV and movies, like, come on. I didn't really give you an answer with that one. I'm sorry, but I okay, I kind of did. I do think it is possible it's just a personal preference between you and your ex and then your future prospective partners. But also if you're if you do stay friends and everything's good and future partners do give you like ultimatums, like they don't want you to be friends with this person anymore, that person's not really for you because ultimatums, they just they're terrible. Like if somebody tells you, Oh, you're not allowed to see this person ever again, like, ugh. And going back to friends, that's what Emily, ugh, same name. That's what she did to Ross. She said he couldn't see Rachel anymore, and that fell apart and blew up in her face. So we saw how that ended. But I mean, maybe she had a right to be jealous because Ross and Rachel were soulmates. I still don't think Emily was right though. Like that was a terrible thing to do. And I hate that I share the name with her. I didn't like her character. Okay, let's move on.
Confessions About Cheating And Thrills
SPEAKER_00All right, uh, we're gonna move on to Gremlin gossip. Both of these are short, not sweet, but short. Um, I wish I had alcohol. Damn. All right, well, let's drink some water. Okay. Both gossips are anonymous. So the first one, anonymous says, I'm in a really secure yet boring relationship. I wanted some excitement in my life. So while my boyfriend was out of town for work, I went to a bar and went home with a random guy for a one-night stand. It gave me a thrill to be with someone new, but now I do feel bad. My boyfriend is very loving, but I think I might do it again the next time he travels. Anonymous. Uh okay. I don't want to judge, and I don't want to, you know, have people out there judging you anonymous. I do think that maybe I I okay, also this is gossip and it's not guidance, so you're not asking for my opinion, but it's my show, and I'm deciding to give you some small amounts of advice. I do think maybe, yeah, you're in a secure relationship and you're there for the comfortability, but I don't think this is the person you're gonna like end up with or like be with long term because you're not very happy. You know, if you feel like you need to go elsewhere for quote unquote excitement, then maybe it's time to reevaluate your relationship and you know, it seems like you like to act like you're single, so why not just be single? And I can say this from experience because I've done this as well. I could have written this in many, many years ago myself, but I wasn't in a secure loving relationship, I was in a terrible, terrible relationship, and I just was, you know, trifling around just because. But do as I say, not as I do, okay, guys. Um, and I don't do that currently, so yeah, I do I think maybe you should just like reevaluate your relationship and decide like maybe you should be single for a while, and then eventually you'll find someone who you know excites you and is fun to be in a relationship with and is secure and it they just like check all your boxes because it seems like the relationship you're in right now isn't checking all of your boxes, you know, just but that's just my two cents. I know you didn't ask for it, but you know, that's the chance you take when you submit a gossip to me. Sometimes you're gonna get my opinion. And let's move on. The last anonymous says, Oh, this one was a doozy. My sister is cheating on her husband. She got married a little over a year ago, and our parents paid for this beautiful, extravagant wedding. I thought she was happy, but now I find out she's been sleeping with, of all people, her boss. I told her I think it's gonna end badly, but she hit me with the quote, you're young and don't understand complicated relationship dynamics. She's only three years older than me, and from what I can tell, she's not that emotionally mature. Now I don't even want to be around her. Anonymous. Yeah, she would piss me off too. Um so anonymous, I'm agreeing with you. I really hate it when people get on their high horse about something. Um, not to say I haven't done it myself, because I feel like people are gonna be like, oh, like you don't do that too. Believe me, I'm reading your emails. Um, but I really hate the high horse where people think that, you know, just because they're doing something differently than you or are older than you or are in a different place in their life, that they think they have a right to like talk down on somebody. And you're not wrong in calling her out for cheating on her husband. She's just mad that you're not on her side and egging on her bad behavior. I am curious, like, I again it's I can't ask follow-up questions, but I'm curious how you found out. Like, did you just find out by happenstance or did she tell you in like a a bragging way or confiding way, and then was pissed that you didn't like support her? I don't know. But yeah, it's just like if you have to cheat, then it's just like you're not happy in your relationship. So why waste the time as someone who has done that in the past? Like, wasting time sucks. Time is your most precious, valuable commodity. You can't get it back. So why are we wasting our time being in unhappy relationships at this point? And that again is coming from someone who has done it before, and maybe that's me being on my high horse, but whatever. Um, I think it's solid advice. So yeah, I mean, I wouldn't want to be around her either. If she's just kind of like talking down on me and saying, you're young and don't understand complicated relationship dynamics. Lady, shut up. All right, well, um, that's our episode.
Heavy Ending Plus Listener Requests
SPEAKER_00Um, yeah. I um I feel like I ended on this sour note. What's up with the sour notes lately? Also, okay, I guess we're gonna end on a super sour note. Uh, Dolly Parton and Tim Curry just died. Well, the August is ending terribly. And today I had there's a few more days left in August. I'm scared what's gonna happen in the next few days. Um, I'm hoping September brings us just nothing but good news, positivity, fortune, luck. I I I don't know, just I'm I'm tired here, guys. I don't like the way things are going. It's been just like depressing. And I know people listen to podcasts or watch podcasts for a way to escape all of that. And I'm bringing it front and center by talking about it, which but it's just like what's happening in life in the world, and you know, it just good god. But let's hope and just be positive that it's going to get better from here, and September rolls around, and the rest of the year is just gonna be aces, right? Yeah, that's what's gonna happen.
